Obituary for Delores Ann Riddle

Delores Ann Riddle, age 79, died Monday, October 31, 2016 at Mount Carmel St Ann's Hospital. She was born February 19, 1937 in Duluth, MN to the late Oscar and Helen Nelson. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Wyatt; sister, Barbara Brisk; and brother, Bernard "Skip" Nelson. Delores is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert "Bob" Riddle; daughters, Carolyn (Ezra) Triplett, Catherine (Kent) Steele, and Barbara (Bill) Binckley; son, John (Michelle) Riddle; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and other extended family. Delores has been a longtime member of Havens Corners Church. She loved taking care of her grandchildren, and is remembered for her flowers, her baking and cooking. Her interests include watching baseball, going bowling, and camping. She will be greatly missed. Her family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, and 10-11 a.m. Friday, November 4 at Havens Corners Church 6696 Havens Corners Road, Blacklick, where the Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor David Allison officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Contributions in memory of Delores may be made to Havens Corners Church, or Mount Carmel Foundation (Mount Carmel Hospice) 6150 E.
